In front of 840 cheering fans, the Golden Eagles managed one hit for the entire. As a team they totalled five walks, including three in the final two innings.
Senior Siena Saints catcher Gary DerHagopian’s sacrifice fly in bottom of the second scored sophomore first basemen Nate Valdez to cut the Saratoga lead down to three runs after several defensive mishaps allowed the Phillies to plate three unearned runs. Of the Golden Eagles seven base runners last night, five of them made it to second base, yet only one came across to score.
